Simply 3 days
away… an event not to be missed! And I’m not just saying this because the
members of the band is literally family to me– but because music in its
entirety will be displayed on a stage of excellence. If you’re in need of an
event that will tickle all your senses, Kleinvlei Methodist Church is the place
to be on Saturday, 25 June 2016 at 19h00.
Unltd is a
band that formed about 5 years ago very informally; and almost by chance – by friends
who enjoy music, who ideally each play a different instrument, coming from the
same church. They have slowly grown and been exposed to perform on various
platforms and form part of different projects.
Uniquely the
feel of the band leads more to cape jazz, but members are equally talented in
spinning new tunes and rhythms, -some even self-composed pieces.
Guest artist
at the scheduled event was set to be well known guitarist Cameron Ward, but he has
indicated that due to his flight from Germany being scheduled later than
anticipated – he will unfortunately not be able to attend the event.
Nonetheless – no need to worry! He has wonderfully made an alternate
arrangement – and our guest artist for Saturday is none other than well-known
saxophonist, Donveno Prins.
Donveno is a
recognised musician within the music industry and has performed in productions
with David Kramer, Allistair Izobell amongst others; and also forms part of a band called TopDogSA. The event is still one for
the cards!
A range of
other guest artists are also set to perform on the evening, so you are really
